GETTING HERE
Miles Historical Village Museum is located along the Warrego Highway on the eastern entrance to the town of Miles, just 3.5 hours inland from Brisbane. Situated on the crossroads of the Warrego and Leichhardt Highways, Miles is the perfect location to schedule a break in your trip. We have great accommodation options and a tranquil free-camp site under established eucalypts on the banks of the Dogwood Creek.
VISITOR INFORMATION
With so much to see and do in our district we recommend allowing at least 3 nights for your visit. Miles and it’s nearby villages of Drillham, Dulacca and Condamine are home to five great country pubs, good coffee, an award winning butcher and (usually) the cheapest fuel on both highways!
We have an A-Class regional art gallery that showcases brilliant exhibits all year round, great fishing spots that are easily accessible and of course, country hospitality. The Miles Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located on the same premises as the Village and is your one-stop shop for traveller information and bookings.

Miles Historical Village Museum and Visitor Information Centre is located on the Warrego Highway on the eastern end of the Miles Township.
Miles Historical Village Museum is home to one of the most authentic pioneer streetscapes in Queensland. With over 30 buildings including genuine historic structures and countless collections, the best way to experience the Village is to join our morning guided tour.
For 90 minutes our local guide will step back in time with you to discover what life was really like for our early settlers, sharing stories of local characters who have shaped our community and explaining the inner workings of our most iconic buildings and exhibits.
